This Guy

For fifteen years, this guy has been the provider of bear hugs and greenhouses and firewood and the bulk of our living income. He has made a four-posted bed, roads in the woods with his machete and bulldozer, mountains of the best crepes you will ever eat, and two of the sweetest kids (well, I helped make them too). He is hard working, loyal, committed, rugged in all the right ways, and can still melt this girl's heart with his amazing blue-green eyes.

That new love back then feels like nothing next to what we have now.
