Mittens and Stocking Hats, Snowflakes, a Polar Bear, and Penguins, Hot Cocoa, Ice Skates, and a Snow Globe; all sweet and cozy and winter-y in all the best ways. I only have one more set left before my series of 12 is over and done. I'm so thankful for all of your encouragement and enthusiasm as I set out to complete this project. I must confess, I'm looking forward to being done with all of the tiny finishing projects for awhile!

I’m far from being an expert finisher, and easily confess that my methods aren’t new. The Silver Dollar finish might be original, but the other finishes are the same that are already out there. If you’re not a person that likes to finish their own stitching, I’m sure you can find a willing person out there to do it beautifully for you for a fee.

*NEW* Festive Little Fobs : Christmas Edition

A Cardinal, Poinsettias, the Nativity (complete with blue-jeans wearing Joseph), Christmas trees, and Wreaths of Holly and Bells are all represented in this little set of small motifs. Perfect for making scissor fobs or ornaments for your tree, this is a continuation of my ongoing series of tiny designs for you to make for yourself and your stitching friends.

*NEW* Festive Little Fobs : Summer Garden Edition

I don't know about where you live, but around here, it's time to start harvesting veggies! The Zucchini is in full swing, Green Beans are starting to ramp up, and Kale is featured at nearly every meal. We have to grow our Tomatoes and Peppers in the greenhouse, and they're still a month away from being ready to eat, but that's the downside of living in the Cascades. This newest set of fobs features some of my favorites: Cauliflower and Beets, Broccoli and Radishes, Peas, Corn, Carrots, and Tomatoes. As well as a thieving Crow and some Gardening Tools. Whew! You all knocked my socks off with your warm welcome of my new Nashville designs! It is always SO hard to estimate how many charts to take with me to Market, and I try really hard to keep it as minimal as possible, since I have to ship charts there, then pay again to ship any unsold charts back home. Oh my goodness, was this year's Market ever a busy, happy, full-of-smiles-and-laughter-and-scrambling-to-keep-up weekend! The idea for this series came to me as I was sitting at a freshly-wiped computer hard drive wondering if any of my lost charts and data were going to be recovered. I was at a complete loss for what to do if I had to re-create months worth of charts that I had in queue for 2018. I opened a new file and started designing some simple little motifs, and then the ideas started rolling. Before I knew it, I had a rough list of 12 different themes, enough to fill a year, should I need to start from scratch with releases to keep you all busy.

My intention for this series is for the motifs to be mix-and-match-able. Your fobs don’t have to be one-sided; you could easily stitch front and back with the same motif, or with different motifs of the same size. You can customize with your initials and date over two or over one, or put in the initials of a special someone that you are making a gift for. Use your creativity! They are small and really quite simple to make… don’t let your fear of finishing get in the way. If I can do it, so can you!

You could also finish your pieces as ornaments for an old feather tree. There are no limits to the things that could be made with these little motifs. I’ve included basic instructions for a few of the fob finishes, but I encourage you to explore the internet on your own for the fabulous DIY tutorials there are out there on Floss Tube and Pinterest. I’m far from being an expert finisher, and easily confess that my methods aren’t new. The Silver Dollar finish might be original, but the other finishes are the same that are already out there. If you’re not a person that likes to finish their own stitching, I’m sure you can find a willing person out there to do it beautifully for you for a fee.

My intention for this series is for the motifs to be mix-and-match-able. Your fobs don’t have to be one-sided; you could easily stitch front and back with the same motif, or with different motifs of the same size. You can customize with your initials and date over two or over one, or put in the initials of a special someone that you are making a gift for. Use your creativity! They are small and really quite simple to make… don’t let your fear of finishing get in the way. If I can do it, so can you!

You could also finish your pieces as ornaments for an old feather tree. There are no limits to the things that could be made with these little motifs. Bluecoat Red, Fawn

or other ribbon-type finishing notion
