*At 14 pounds 12 ounces and 25 1/2 inches, if you put her in a baby line-up, she would be taller and heavier than 90 percent of the other girls.
*Has the sweetest little laugh, which emerges from her lips in anticipation well before her Mama starts to tickle her tummy.
*Recently rolled from her tummy to her back for the first time, and can sit up with support.

The Big Brother
*Is now sleeping comfortably every night in his BIG BED- he made the transition on Memorial Day without a peep of complaint.
*Recently refused to eat Meatballs with ketchup, but loved the "Beefy Treats with Pumpernickletickle Sauce".

Crazy.
That's me. I am always proud of the end product, but every time I take on a wedding cake I wonder what has possessed me to say yes. This was a much easier venture when I had no children. A HUGE thank you to my Mama for stepping in and helping with the Baby while I decorated this:
Unfortunately, the photos from the front of the cake didn't turn out well due to the light coming in through the curtains. But you get the idea...

Being a Mama
My Mother's Day gifts:
Early morning smiles from my Baby Girl
My Firstborn saying "Hap Mama Day" and "Big Hug"
A kitchen cleaned without me lifting a finger
A beautiful Rosemary plant from my Soulmate to replace the one that Winter killed
Several pots of colorful flowers to grace the back deck
My Farmboy spending two weekends getting the vegetable garden planted for me
Dinner at Red Lobster
And, my favorite gift? My darling husband saying, "I don't know how you do it!"

Shearing the Sheep
Before...
After...
I just wish I could make something useful out of all of that hair. It can't really be felted like wool, though, and some might find a hair-stuffed pillow a bit creepy.
See the baggy in his hand? He was having a little trouble seeing all of his locks blow away in the wind, and wanted to keep some. I figure it won't hurt, and in a few days, when the baggie disappears, he won't even notice.
