Lately

Our eight laying hens have been averaging 6 eggs per day.

These two have been telling each other "I love you" a lot.

Christmas story books have entered regular rotation (shown here: The Polar Express, The Mitten, and A Peanuts Christmas).

This one loves to do things like zip her jammies all by herself, yet she still wants to hold my hand when we walk.

I've been shooting into the light.

Is your chicken a buff orpington? She is beautiful! Trevor will be adding more chicks to his clutch this spring and I am helping him research good layers and the buffs seem to be at the top of the list.

I love your photographs by the way, thanks so much for sharing.

Beth, can the kids fit anymore toys in the tub? I kept pictures of all my naked tub times of the kids, Colleen put together a shadow box of all the pictures, it is priceless and now hangs in the bathroom!

Beautiful photos! I remember the tub full of toys days! Actually, they all still take some toys in, just not as many! Love the last photo into the light!
