Is it Groundhog's Day?

I feel like I keep waking up to the same scene over and over and over again.
Just yesterday, I noticed the catkins on my Magnolia were opening, and told myself to get a picture. Which I, of course, promptly forgot to do.
And now the branches are bowed to the ground and covered with so much snow I can't find the catkins anyway (there it is, down there, between the Chicken Chalet and the bird bath)...
We got 12 inches of powder overnight, and more is falling as I type. Look at that ominous sky.
I had to wade through the drifts to knock snow off of my satellite dish just so I could get an internet connection.
Don't you wish you lived where I live? I hear its supposed to be in the 70's in New York today.

And sad, sad, sad... I still can't light a fire in the woodstove. I don't think I've ever seen snow accumulate on top of my chimney.
Would you all please start fanning your warm air this way? I'm ready to thaw out already!

Beautiful snow photos but I'm glad it's in your part of the world and not mine :-)

I totally agree with Ann's comments above. I figure if we're not really going to have winter, we might as well get on with spring! 60's across the board this week in Cleveland. Go figure. I just wonder what it all means...

Oh no!! But it is pretty. I am hoping we are done with the snow for this year. I just came back from the garden center. They said we were the first to buy pansies.♥ My favorite flower! :) Supposed to reach 80 tomorrow! Craziness I tell you. Very abnormal.

Living just 30 miles from NYC, I can tell you that it is 70 degrees here today!! Spring has arrived! I can't believe the difference..... all that snow by you.... it is beautiful, for sure, and we had hardly any of it this winter. But now that it's March, I will be happy to not see it until next winter! I have a funny feeling, however, that we will be dumped on one of these.... :)

It is 81 today in Charleston WV and I have the air on, it's absolutely gorgeous. Although everything is blooming and my allergies are kicking my butt. I will send some warm air your way! Hopefully your spring will arrive very soon.

Stunningly beautiful! I'd love to live where winter is like that - believe it or not we've had our a/c running off and on all season.

Beth, I wanted snow this winter but I don't think Tennessee is going to have any. I would LOVE to be at your house right now!
