Take Two and Call Me in the Morning

Need a dose of medicine? I know I sure do.
Drizzly weather, fighting a cold, hormones off-kilter... I just want to curl up under a blanket and watch endless episodes of mindless television all day.
But there is laundry and there are kids and I'll just have to make do with frequent lingering glances at the bouquet of daffodils on my counter.
The vase from my too-far-away Sister, the blooms from the grocery store ($2 for ten stems, so I bought 30!), they are about as bright and cheerful as it can get.
Do yourself a favor and go get yourself some. Then pretend with me that they are glowing like the sun and radiating heat, too.

Love your daff photos. Aren't they a wonderful prelude to spring bit of sunshine?

I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago. They brought much pleasure to three stitching friends and myself.. Unfortunately I had to part with them yesterday. Sure could use that artificial sunshine here on this dark and gloomy day...I guess I'll check in periodically and enjoy yours.

Hope you feel well soon.

I can't wait till they hit the stores here! I also buy a Have you ever put food coloring in the water? Very cool to see the veins and my kids always LOVED doing that. MJ

Oh man. For those of us whose boys are allergic to flowers will have to just change their backgrounds on their desktops and pretend.

Beautiful flowers! It's been rainy here too and most all of last week's snow has melted away. I did spot some green pushing through the dirt this morning. The Resurrection Lilies are coming up!

Feel better!!

Just know I care and can relate today on all fronts. Here's hoping that those beautiful blooms far outlast the drearies.

Winter returned to Holland full force after a week of spring bliss. We are hoping for a spring filled Easter weekend now as it is set to stay the month of March.

I am just getting over a 3 week cold so wishing you that your cold passes quickly!

Hugs from Holland ~
