Your Choice... and a Giveaway

I am currently hard at work on a patriotic design that I am hopeful will be ready for an early June release- its taking me FOREVER to finish, because I am stitching it up two ways, one as a pinkeep, and one as a sampler.

I have been looking at photos of some of my older designs- the ones that I stitched to sell as a finished sampler- back before I had cross stitch software. A few of them are begging me to be published. I picked my top four candidates, and thought I'd let you decide which is the first to be pulled out of mothballs.

Here they are, in no particular order:
Elizabeth West:

Constance Sullivan- I hated the fabric that I stitched this one on, but love the trio of bouquets inspired by a mid 1800's sampler.

EN 1815, stitched with a vintage variegated Coats and Clark floss from my Grandma's sewing basket...

Prudence Talcott, the only one of my finished samplers that I regret selling- almost as much for that pretty vintage frame as for the sampler itself!

As for the Giveaway... I will draw a name from those who offer feedback in the comments on this blog post (please include your vote for one of the above designs). The drawing will be on Monday, Memorial Day. The winning person will be able to either pick one of my currently available charts for free, or can sign up to be the first to receive the newly-charted, democratically-chosen sampler choice from above.

Sound like fun?

P.S....
Did you design the sampler standing behind Constance as well? It's divine!

They are all special, I am glad you are considering to reprint them. I especially like the last two, with the very last one being the first I would choose. So, Prudence Talcott gets my vote! You are so gifted!!!!!....Lorraine

I like them all, but if I have to choose--my vote would be for Constance Sullivan.

Too much fun!! I keep going back to Constance Sullivan, so I'm voting for that one. What a fun way to decide!

I get lots of questions about that sampler that is behind Constance- I tend to use it often as a backdrop because I love it so much.

It isn't my design- it is a Scarlet Letter reproduction sampler which I stitched on a cotton feedsack (I was practically cross-eyed by the time I was done- and actually I didn't really finish it and changed it a little even!). You can see the pattern here: http://www.scarlet-letter.com/rsdescr/18tham/spangler.htm

Beth, I love all of your designs, but I would vote for Constance Sullivan as number 1 (I wonder if it has anything to do with the name).
But I also like Prudance Talcott. Maybe you will do two?????

My favorite is certainly EN 1815, but Prudence Talcott runs a close second. Seriously, if you release EN 1815 as a chart, I'll be first in line to buy a copy.

Good luck with your patriotic design. Looking forward to seeing it.

(And please include me in the giveaway!)

Of course they are all lovely, but EN 1815 will get my vote, love the deer on that one and stitching with variegated thread from your grandma's sewing box is so nostalgic.

Oh what fun! I'm torn between Constance Sullivan and Prudence Talcott. But I think Prudence wins by a nose. :D

Beth- They are all beautiful but my vote goes for EN 1815. It is so simple but striking at the same time. I have a love of cross stitched trees and deer so that may be why I am so drawn to it! I just love it! Do you still own the original? -karen

My top two are constance and prudence, but my favorite of those is prudence. 'just thought I'd put in my two cents, too, but you don't need to include me in the drawing. As you know, cross-stitch isn't my forte. But I love seeing what you do with it! You are amazing!!

I'd vote for Constance. They are all great.

Eagerly awaiting the patriotic design also.

They are all so lovely and each are admired for their own special beauty....but if I had to choose I would say first Elizabeth with Prudence coming in a close second. I love Elizabeth for the colors (especially the blue birds) and its simple beauty. Glad to hear you will eventually release all.

Looking forward to seeing your forthcoming patriotic design!
Please enter me in your drawing.
Thanks!

Oh Yum!!! I think I have to settle on Constance, Prudence and EM in that order of preference but I know I will be thrilled with whatever you decide!! I would be one happy gal if my name was entered in the drawing!

Oh wow, this was close. I was back and forth between Prudence and Constance, with Constance sort of winning in my mind. But when I looked at them again, it was Prudence! So, my vote - Prudence! I would love to win any of your charts!!
