(Almost) Lost in Translation

If I wasn't already fluent in The Boy's language, I wouldn't know that this "Scoopy AlienT" (with great emphasis on the "T" sound at the end) was really a "Spooky Alien"...

What lost me is how in the world he knows ANYTHING about aliens and why they would be spooky?
