Homegrown Supper

Yessiree! Just-picked baby carrots and zucchini, peas, cilantro, and mesclun topped with toasted day-old home-made hamburger bun croutons and fried eggs that were gathered just this morning.
How I wish I could eat like this all year round!

That looks soooooo good Beth! I tried radishes and carrots this year in pots that have totally failed. Nothing is down there in the good old earth. :-( But I do various lettuces and they are great along with my herb garden. I can only dream of this homegrown goodness that I see on your plate.

Hugs from Holland ~

Don't you just love growing your own food! Opening a jar of home grown veggies in the middle of the winter is like opening a jar of sunshine! Right down to the herbs. I always check to see what herbs I can use in our meals. Thank you for such a great blog.
