Autumnal

Sunflowers are in bloom...

Firewood has been stacked...

Grapes are ripening...

Blackberries have been eaten (with ice cream, of course)...

Wooly caterpillars are out in force...

The leaves are beginning to change their colors...

And yet the warm Summer sun is still shining, and I don't feel Autumnal at all... Oh, how ready I am for some sweater weather! Cider, pumpkin pie, SOUP season, hurry up already!

The delay is due to all the blasted rainy days we had to endure through summer.

Looks so pretty at your home, Beth! You can tell big brother has quite the admirer. :D

The closest neighbor is how far away from you? That is the biggest stack of wood I have ever seen. Is that going to heat your house all winter long?

Beautiful photos and even more beautiful children! I'm one of the rare ones who is not quite ready to let go of summer, I'm afraid! Thank you for the compliments on my new winter piece, and best of luck with the three pieces you're having shown!... Donna
