The End of 2013

In which I flood you with the remaining notable pictures from last year so that I can move on to current happenings...

Christmas frippery, Birthday breakfast Crepes, Family LEGO time, New Appliances to replace the elderly units that all started to give up the ghost at the same time, walks in Winter Woods, Family Game Night, Mary's Sampler finished and framed, Cousins, pre-Christmas excitement, a Quilt finally finished after months and months of intention, mossy Bones of tree, the Farmboy and his Friend still boys, Sunlit Corner, Christmas Pajamas cuddling, Canning Jar Candlelight, post-Christmas building Projects, the Kids Sleeping by Dreamlite and Christmastree Light, the Farmboy loves his Jeep, tearing out a Beaver Dam to protect our Bridge over Bear Creek, Country Folk Ornaments, Studious Kindergartener, four days spent on a Feverish Couch with Laptop and Christmas tree and new Toys for company, ringing in the New Year with a 12 year Glenlivet and wool socks and roaring fire and Dickens on the Kindle.

New Mug Graphics- Hibernation Day

Just in time for winter and the Holidays, I have added two new mug graphics to my available collection. Both were taken from this year's Hibernation Day design.

This one is called "Hibernation Day"...

And this I call "Christmas Reindeer"...

As before, with the Harry Tyler's Lion, Baby Its Cold Outside and Never Let You Go mugs, you can either purchase the graphic through my etsy shop for $5 and take it to your own place to have made into mugs, or you can order completed mugs by contacting me via email (beth@heartstringsamplery.com).

If you choose to order a finished mug directly through me, I will work up an invoice for you based on where you live, for accurate sales tax and shipping charges. Cost per mug will be $14 plus state tax, and shipping (within the US) is $4.95 for the first mug, $1.50 for each additional mug... don't worry, I'll do all the calculations for you and send an invoice to reflect the total... just wanted to give you the ability to guess a ballpark figure.

These would be perfect for Christmas gifts, or "Just-Because" gifts, or for YOURSELF, to enjoy while you stitch.

*NEW* Hibernation Day

The words on this sampler come from a song called, “Hibernation Day”, which is on a Christmas album by Jars of Clay. I had so much fun designing the bands to go along with the lyrics. I wanted an overall cozy, winter-y feel without being too holiday-ish. Well, it turned out pretty Christmas-y anyway, but hopefully that won’t deter you from keeping it on display all winter long.

Christmas in April

My life as a cross-stitch designer can sometimes feel a bit disjointed, stitching ahead of each holiday to try to time releases season-appropriately. But having been so sick during the holidays last year, it was actually a bit therapeutic to be working on one of this years' Christmas designs in the early Spring. I'm going to miss this one when I'm done stitching.
