A mama Blacktail deer with her sweet baby...

A lone coyote out for an explore...

A very curious male Blacktail deer with nice velvety forked antlers...

there he goes, back into the woods. But wait! Who is that entering stage right?

An even bigger Blacktail buck... nice rack!

And I would be very remiss if I didn't include the following (rather large) fellow. He has visited us before, but we have never actually seen more than his tracks. Lo and behold...
A Black Bear...

The camera didn't capture his face, but who can mistake THAT silhouette?!

Great pics! Lots of traffic through there. The bear is especially cool.
Holy cow !! thats amazing ! Great pics.
Your woodland friends are beautiful. Living in NY state, I wasn't even aware of the black tailed deer. White tailed deer are prolific here, wandering into the yard at dusk to snack on various shrubs and perennials. Love the extreme close-up of the deer!
Perhaps some of your wild friends will inspire one of your designs.

Wow, Beth, that is so cool! It would also make me cautious when I was outside!
