A Crazy Quilt

And what is life? A crazy quilt;
Sorrow and joy, and grace and guilt,
With here and there a square of blue
For some old happiness we knew;

And so the hand of time will take
The fragments of our lives and make,
Out of life's remnants, as they fall,
A thing of beauty, after all.

Hi, I enjoy seeing and reading about old quites, primitive creation and well just about anything old. You have a wonderful site and I will be back to see what is new. LenZie

I love this... I've been stitching stockings for my family (sister's family, brother's family, dad, stepmom...) been looking at everything to make something extra special for my mom... finally decided it's going to be a crazy quilt stocking with all the embroidery and ribbons and silk and velvet...
