Yesterday was National "Sneak Some Zucchini Onto Your Neighbor's Porch Day"

It's true! I didn't follow through, though, because

a. I didn't find out about it until late in the day

b. my neighbor is a bachelor truck driver who may or may not know
what to do with a zucchini

c. this being the first of my crop, I selfishly wanted to keep
every single one so that I could spend the afternoon making this:

Yep. That's Zucchini Relish, otherwise known around here as "Yellish". Yum. I'm working on a bit of an alteration, but once I have it perfected, I'll share the recipe. And hopefully soon, because I know that many of you are drowning in green squashes too.

Oh, your "yellish" looks yummy!!! I'm planning on making some zucchini soup this afternoon myself - and maybe a chocolate zucchini cake!

Today the 10th is National S'mores day. We are having them for dinner. I've been Up North at the cottage for 5 weeks alone with the dogs. It really is God's country. Winnie was in heat, I had her in diapers with masking tape holding them on. Talk about doggie porno, Otis and Sherman would not leave her alone. Next time she is staying home. Back to reality this week! Love, Deb
