Happiness is...

The new area rug purchased to replace the one we've walked on for 15 years.
Finding un-broken clay pigeons in the woods below the house.
The very first picture snapped in 2013... Blueberry smoothie drops perfectly fallen next to a tree needle.
Walking in the woods.
Memories of warm days filled with fun.
Four-wheeler rides with Daddy.
A fresh-dug potato that made me crave Goldfish crackers.
What brings you happiness today?

Today the sun has been shining.... that makes me very happy!! Blue skies and puffy white clouds out my window, after several rainy, foggy days....
Cute pics of your family, the "goldfish" potato :), and the first food smile of 2013!

Sweet post and pictures!
Today's happiness includes a cuddle nap with my son, not having to make dinner, and a quiet evening to stitch.

What makes me happy today is seeing the picture of your fish potatoe. I love when you can find something else in the unexpected. Reminds me of a couple of cucumbers in the shape of a c. My mother and I were making 14 day sweet pickles that year with baby cucumbers. One was like an upper case c and the other a lower case c. Perfect for the cross-stitcher that loves samplers.
Thanks for making me happy today with your picture.

Happiness for me today would be finally cleaning all my floors! With a puppy who likes to get into the newspaper, that's harder said than done.

Even better is that today my sourdough starter will be used and made into bread after a grueling 3 week maturity process. To make it even better I get to use my new kitchenaid :)

But best of all, Rusko's freedom starts tomorrow and we can finally take him to the beach and to the dog park! :)
