The sun came out...
Lilacs bloomed...
Strawberry blossoms popped out all over...
There was wearing of shorts and kicking off of shoes and laying in the grass...
Furry and Feathered Creatures basked in the warmth...
If one listened carefully, there was an allover swelling and growing sound coming from the blueberry patch...
The Poppies didn't open their buds, but I don't blame them for their skepticism.
The clouds and damp are back today, but I don't mind so much, because this body is a bit sore from the pulling of weeds, scaling of rock walls, hauling and shoveling of mulch.
Besides, all of these babies need a bit of moisture to get themselves established...
Is it wrong to be in love with a bean trellis?

I wish we could have a garden this size. Our soil is so poor (clay) that it sticks to the shovel in a smooth slice when wet, and needs a mattock when it's dry!!! Your land is beautiful....and bountiful! Lucky girl.

If I had a bean trellis like that I'd be in love with it too...
